President Goodluck Jonathan inaugurates reconstruction of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday in Shagamu, Ogun State inaugurated the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with a pledge that the N167bn project would be completed in 48 months (4 years).

The contract was clinched jointly by Julius Berger Plc and Reynold Construction Company (RCC) Ltd.

President Jonathan charged the contractors to ensure timely completion of the project and appeal to road users to be patient, saying that government had made adequate funding arrangement to see the project through to completion.
