2014 World Cup: Nigeria must beat Bosnia else heads will roll - Supporters Club

President General Nigeria Supporters Club, Rauf Ladipo has warned the Super Eagles and members of the technical crew that nothing short of the three maximum points against Bosnia-Herzegovina will be accepted by Nigerians. He said heads will roll should the Eagles put up another lacklustre performance in tomorrow’s game in Cuiaba.

He warned that drastic action will be taken against the team and its technical crew once they fail to beat Bosnia and advance to the next round.

“I am not happy with the Eagles and its technical bench. We did not come here to watch football but on business of winning matches and advancing up to the semi-finals. But the way the boys played the first game against Iran showed that they do not business and if they fail to beat Bosnia on Saturday and something drastic will have to happen to the team and its technical crew. I want to warn them that a win is a must”

Ladipo said Nigerians will not take it when Eagles play as if nothing is at stake. “I warn that they must beat Bosnia. We all paid our ways here and for the team to play as if nothing is at stake is unacceptable.

My warning is not meant to put pressure on the team but an advice and a wake-up call. Even the Brazilians were supporting Nigeria but Eagles messed up.”
