2014 World Cup: We have accepted our fate - Dropped Super Eagles players

Some of the players dropped by Coach Stephen Keshi to make Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2014 World Cup holding in Brazil have reacted to the decision to omit them from the squad.

Midfielder Sunday Mba said he has accepted his fate and enjoined Nigerians to pray and support the Super Eagles throughout the tournament in Brazil, starting from tonight's warm-up match against Greece.

"I have accepted my faith lets all pray nd wish the team a Gud outin in brazil .. Startin from tonight's warmup game," The CA Bastia star tweeted.

Four goals hero against Tahiti at the Confederation Cup in Brazil who ply his trade at Serie B club Varese, on loan from Milan, Nnamdi Oduamadi was philosophical in his reaction, thanking God for everything and hoping to pick up the pieces.

"If one dream should fall and break into a pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again.Tank you LORD 4 everything," Oduamadi tweeted.

Another player that did not made the initial 30-man provisional list, John Ogu also expressed his support for the team.

"Goodluck to My Teamates Who Made up the 23man list ..We Are Solidly Behind You Guys.Go do us Proud #OneLove," John Ogu urged the boys.

Other dropped players are Daniel Akpeyi, Ejike Uzoenyi,Joel Obi, Nosa Igiebor and Obinna Nsofor.
