Nigeria is free from Ebola virus - WHO

Nigeria is now officially free of the deadly Ebola virus.

After six weeks with no new cases, the World Health Organisation today declared Nigeria Ebola free.

The outbreak of the deadly virus in West Africa, has killed more than 4,500 people, mostly in Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone.

The WHO officially declared Senegal Ebola-free on Friday.
