Nigeria's ex-BBA rep Beverly Osu in a recent interview shares her personal experience in the Big Brother House. Read Below
In BBA House
The experience was awesome.Though it was challenging, God really saw me through. It is something everybody should look forward to participating in. I don't believe I was cheated during the grand finale. Housemates from West Africa were not only united but, we dominated the House. Whoever won the show really deserved to win. For me and Melvin, having made it to the finals, we are equally winners in our own rights. At least, we brought something home to show for our efforts.
Having sex with South Africa's Angelo!I did not have sex in the House. I had a relationship with Angelo Collins but we did not have sex. I loved him and I still love him. I am a blunt person and very real. People that knew me before BBA know that I don't pretend to be who I am. If it happens, you fall in love, you can't fake it. I did not have sex with Angelo. I was under the bathtube, but we never had sex. Maybe, the camera made it look so. Everybody gets naked to have their bath, so I don't think it is wrong for me to be naked when I have my bath too. There was no way. I couldn't be different because I went for a reality show. So, I should not be judged by what people saw during the show since I didn't intentionally bring out my video for all to see. .Big brother did that.
Winning strategy
I am a very blunt person. Melvin can testify to this claim because he stayed with me for ninety one days in the House. I was only talking to my fellow Housemates. And I don't regret anything I said about myself and my family. This is because if I have to be on this platform, people have to know the real me and what I have been through.
On her plans for the future
I'll continue with my online reality show "Beverly Says" and I'll complete my education. I also intend to go into acting. I'm a 200 level student of the National Open University of Nigeria, where I am studying Mass Communication.
My mum's reaction
My mum has tutored me very well. Even if the whole world rejects me today, my mum can't reject me. I love my mum so much. I'm her only daughter and the last child in the family. I have always been there for her, just as she has always been there for me. I will not disappoint my mum intentionally by saying she this or she's that…
Embarrassing Nigerians
I don't feel happy about it because this is the first time, I represented the country in any continental competition. But the fact remains that if you didn't go for it, you wouldn't know how it's in the House. I wasn't there with my cell phone to be able to communicate with the outside world. I was just there alone. I'm sorry for embarrassing my country. I didn't do it intentionally. My participation in the show was not to embarrass my country. I am a proud Nigerian.
On featuring in a porn production by Afrocandy
I heard about it. Thanks for the offer but no.

Sean Kingston sued for alleged gang rape of a teenager
Sean Kingston and his bodyguard allegedly gang raped a drunk teenager in the singer's hotel room back in 2010.
According to a new lawsuit, Carissa Capeloto now 22 claims she was forced to have sex with Sean, his bodyguard and a member of Sean's band at a Seattle hotel in July, 2010, after she had smoked pot and downed 7-10 shots of vodka.
Capeloto, who has sued all 3 men alleges she'd been invited to Kingston's hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Bieber concert where Kingston had also performed but when she showed up Kingston was waiting naked on his bed. Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her while she was "obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent.
Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.
She says her life has been ruined, she can barely sleep, has mood swings and panic attacks. Capeloto wants $5 mil minimum.
BTW criminal charges against Kingston were dropped in 2010 after cops concluded Capeloto wasn't credible enough for a legit case.
Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the sex was 100% consensual. Trial is set for November.

22-year-old man arrested while attempting to rape 80-year-old blind woman
Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, have arrested 22-year-old Mohammed Inuwa of Herwagana quarters, Gombe for attempting to rape an 80-year-old blind woman, Malama Hannutu Baba.
The Gombe State Commander of NSCDC, Mr Joel Khestossen said, that the suspect was arrested on August 23.
Khestossen said the suspect was charged to Kasuwan Shanu Magistrates' court and later remanded in prison custody on the orders of the magistrate.
According to him, the suspect gained entry into the blind woman's house under the pretext of looking for one Kabiru Sani, a student of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Gombe.
He said: "When he entered the house, there was nobody, as everybody had gone to the mosque except the blind woman.
"When she heard his footsteps, she asked who the person was and the suspect did not talk but quietly went and grabbed the woman.
"He started struggling with her as he tried to force her to have sex with him.
"Unfortunately for him, the woman's grandson, Malam Mohammed Baba, returned from the mosque and discovered what was going on. He raised an alarm which attracted people to the house."
He said the people overpowered the suspect and handed him over to NSCDC.
He appealed to the public to always report such cases to the appropriate security authorities for necessary action.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Catholic doctors at war over abortion law
Culled From: Vanguard
Imo State governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, and Catholic Medical Practitioners Association are at daggers-drawn over the abortion bill the former just signed into law.
The law, among others, permits women to procure abortion at will.
Sponsored by the Majority Leader and member representing Ahiazu Mbaise state constituency, Mrs. Adekunle Ihuoma, the law is to be cited as "Imo State of Nigeria, Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law Number 12 of 2012".
According to the new law, every woman shall have the right to enjoy reproductive rights, including rights to medical abortion in cases of sexual assault, rape, incest and where the continued pregnancy endangers the life or the physical, mental, psychological or emotional health of the mother.
The law also stipulates that "every woman shall have the right to take decisions about her health needs and requirements."
The law was very specific that a woman "shall have the right to determine the processes concerning reproduction in her body."
Okorocha also approved that
every woman should have a
right to health, which should be
understood to mean enjoyment
of the highest level of physical,
mental and social well-being
and healthcare services.
These provisions include
everything relating to family
planning.
Chairman, Catholic Medical Practitioners Association, Dr. Phillip Njemanze, has reacted angrily to the law, arguing that "the law is anti-God, dehumanizing and totally unacceptable to the association.
"The law is devastating. With its signing into law by Governor Okorocha, abortion has been legalized in the state and anybody, just anybody can now ask for abortion as a right in the state."
While recalling that the National Assembly had earlier rejected the bill, especially as it was against humanity, Njemanze reasoned that the law would encourage human egg trafficking.

J.Martins blasts Wizkid for insulting a fan who corrected his bad english
Few days ago Wizkid blasted a fan for correcting his bad english; he tweeted "Broke people always think they have an opinion".( Read Here )
J.martins in a recent interview on Hot Fm 98.3 Abuja reacted to Wizkid's tweet. He said: "I'm not taking any side, don't mean no beef, no disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don't believe because you feel you have a few change you didn't have a few years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your CD's, prayed for you, just because you can lay your hands on some phone and you call them 'poor'. Am not in and will never be in support of anyone who has such bad attitude.
"It needs to be corrected, we owe our fans the duty of being good examples that's why they hold us in high esteem, that's why you are a role model and if you know you cannot be a good role model you have no business in Music. You don't know if it's that person that might help you tomorrow, whoever does that should be checked.

The time for lamentation is over; this is the era of transformation - President Jonathan
Today President Goodluck Jonathan shared on his Facebook page some progress his adminstration has made from 2011. Read below.
"In 2011, I made a promise to the people of Nigeria that every zone of our great nation would have an international airport. A little over two years to the day I made that promise we are witnessing the inaugural international flight from the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu.
As I said during my inaugural address, "the time for lamentation is over; this is the era of transformation" . Our rail infrastructure is being brought back on track and expanded; our road networks are receiving attention even as we insist on getting them wider and better.
As some of you may have noticed, the aviation sector is being overhauled so as to make flying accessible to the average Nigerian. Let me use this occasion to encourage all patriots to remain resolute in our collective pursuit of development and happiness. We must make progress together and no Citizen, no Community in our Country will be left behind. Our determination to ensure developmental justice in ALL the zones shall remain unshakable."

Vast of Bracket narrates how he survived cancer
After seven months of undergoing treatment for Lymphoma, a type of cancer of the blood, in Platinum Medical Centre, Wellington, London, Vast of Bracket in a recent interview narrates how it all happened. Take time to read.
How did it happen?
I don't know what to say, but first of all, I want to give thanks to God. I was very sick. Before I went to the hospital, I attended a couple of shows. I wondered how I was able to perform at the shows because I was seriously ill. My partner, Obumneme Ali a.k.a Smash and I had series of shows and in a situation where payment has been made, I had no option than to grace the stage. We decided to round off our shows late last year in order to enable me take care of my health in 2013. But unfortunately, up till January, this year, we were still going for concerts. We even had to travel to Australia to stage a concert.
Then, I was visiting one of the hospitals in Lagos, and that was where I was diagnosed. They carried out all the medical examinations, and when the results came out, the Haematologist advised me to seek for further treatment abroad.
If you have travelled to America or any Schengen country within two years, you can apply for a Priority Visa and we were qualified to do so. We applied and within four days, the visa came out. We met a friend in the UK who introduced us to his brother who is a Medical Doctor. He assisted us and we met a Haematologist who advised that I should re-run all the tests again.
The only thing we didn't do was the surgery which I did back home before I was diagnosed of suffering from blood cancer. After everything, they started with the treatment they called 'Bone Marrow'. It wasn't an easy one, it was very difficult. I thought I would loose all the blood in my body but thank God I survived it. After a week, I started having complications, I had to return to the hospital to have blood transfusion after which I felt better. We spent a lot of money. At a point, I was hopeless and was only praying to God for His mercies.
After the second chemotherapy,
I started exercising because the
doctor advised me to do regular
exercise. However, it was after
the third chemotherapy that the
pictures I took while in the
hospital leaked. By then, I was
already bouncing back to life
because I passed through the
valley of the shadow of death. After the fourth chemotherapy,
we shot a video, 'Temperature'
in London .
I didn't even know I could do
that. I initially thought the cycle
would be six but before the fifth
chemotherapy, the doctor
informed us that it was going to
be eight. I got confused at that
point and even doubted what
they were doing. I thought they
just wanted to milk me because
it was expensive. My manager,
partner and Chief Executive
Office however encouraged me
to complete the treatment.
I was only going to the hospital, then to the gymnasium and back to the house. After the seventh chemo, I was told to do a Lumber Punch- they would have to inject my spine. It was done after the fifth chemo and it was very painful. I thought I would be paralysed. I was told the Lumber Punch was necessary to prevent the disease from getting to the brain. At that point, our account was almost in the red.
Luckily, a friend known as Ugonna came to London during my third chemo and was moved when he heard that we had accommodation problem. He later gave us some money to look for one. Ugonna was the only person that assisted me financially apart from the prayers and encouragement of my fans and the media. I did the Lumber Punch and lost a lot of blood.
Two days after, I went to get another chemo. When one undergoes chemo, it kills both the good and the bad cells and flushes out all the blood in your system. So, you have to be refreshing. Imagine losing so much blood after the Lumber Punch and after the chemo. I was almost a dead person. My colour overnight. I remembered what the doctor told me that cancer is not the problem but the treatment.
After a week and a half, I started exercising, taking juice and everything that would help build my blood again.I was finally cleared from the hospital and I thank God for His mercies. A lot of people came to our house to rejoice with us when we returned to the country during the week. I want to thank them. The likes of P-Square, Jimmy Jatt, Dammy Krane, KCee, Chidinma, Illbliss, JMartins and many others.

Did You Know: Saying "God Bless You" was once a law?
During the 6th Century, it was customary to congratulate people who sneezed because it was thought that they were expelling evil from their bodies. During the great plague of Europe, the Pope passed a law to say "God bless you" to one who sneezed.
I didn’t have sex with Beverly Osu we were just kissing - Angelo
South African BBA rep, Angelo, has denied having sex Nigeria's BBA rep, Beverly Osu, in the ongoing Big Brother Africa reality show, He said they were 'just kissing'.
Angelo who has being evicted from the show, said: "We didn't have sex. We talked about it. There were some things I said I wasn't going to do in the house.
I respect my mum so much. Before I got into the house, there were things I told my mummy I wasn't going to do. I wasn't butt naked. It looked as if we were having sex in that bathtub. We were just kissing. I couldn't take advantage of Beverly because I respect her so much."
Angelo also confirmed that he is in love with her and intends to pursue the relationship.
"We will try and work things out and see how we can make our relationship work. At the same time, I hope the people of Nigeria don't hate Bev. I would love to come to Nigeria and experience Nigerian culture and take lots of pepper," he said.
Now that he is out of the house, so many people feel the South African will go back to the girlfriend he left behind before BBA. But he said he wasn't in any relationship before he got into the show.
"I didn't have a girlfriend before I got into the house, but I had someone I told to wait for me so that we would see what would happen when I get out of the house. I will be focused on what I want to do as a person and then focus on my relationship with Bev and see where we will take it to," he said.
No matter his feelings for Beverly though, Angelo said he hopes Melvin, the other Nigerian housemate, comes out tops in the show.
"Melvin is very humble and he is not a selfish person. I wish he wins. I think he is a stronger competition than Beverly," he said.
Meanwhile, the show ends tomorrow with Elikem, Cleo, Dillish, Melvin and Beverly as the finalists

Gay guy arrested in Ogun State after partner screamed his 'Joystick' was missing
Culled From: P.M News
There was commotion yesterday morning at Kotodayo community in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, as a young man, simply identified as Sadiq was beaten to a pulp for allegedly being gay.
The incident happened at 1 Kotodayo in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota after Sadiq's friend, Ibrahim (surname withheld), allegedly raised the alarm declaring that his male organ had disappeared.
According to Ibrahim, who was
seen naked before some men,
Sadiq had paid him a visit last
night and deep into the night,
he began to have sex with him.
When P.M.NEWS visited the
scene, Ibrahim's penis was of
normal size, but he was making
efforts to make it turgid as a
proof that it was fully restored.
Ibrahim, who is also a squatter
in the house, alleged that it was
the first time Sadiq would be
visiting him.
Though they have been friends
for some time now, Ibrahim
said he never knew his friend
was gay until last night.
Sadiq, in a confessional
statement to local vigilantes at
the scene of the incident, said
he has been homosexual for the
past three years.
He denied snatching his friend's
male organ, but said he had
engaged only men in sex since
then and further indicted a
prophet whose white garment
church is within the community
as the one who prepared the
concoction with which he
engages in the act.
However, the prophet, who was invited by the vigilantes, denied the allegation.
He said he had known Sadiq as one who never chased after women and did not know that the man was gay.
Sadiq was later whisked away by the vigilantes after much plea to stop beating him was rebuffed by the people of the area.

Boko Haram attacks Gamboru Ngala, kills 4 civilians
According to reports from Vanguard, at least four civilians were killed while eight others were seriously injured when some suspected members of Boko Haram sect invaded Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno state in the early hours of yesterday.
Gamboru Ngala is a border town with Cameroun Republic, about 135 kilometres away from Maiduguri, the state capital, which had witnessed series of bombings and killings in recent past.
It was gathered that the gunmen, numbering about 50, came on motorcycles armed with sophisticated weapons and attacked Flatari ward of the council at about 2am yesterday. The sect members ordered residents to come out from their houses pretending to be members of the youth vigilante before they opened fire on them killing four residents and injuring eight others.
A source said, the gunmen also set ablaze some houses in Flatari and fled.
He explained that the gunmen were on revenge mission following the recent arrest of one of their members last week by youth vigilantes (civilian JTF) whom they later handed over to the military Joint Task Force before he was killed.
According to the source, the military used to patrol the area but with the formation of youth vigilante, the JTF were no longer patrolling the area, as they had confidence in the vigilante in protecting their area.
A resident who on condition of anonymity appealed to the JTF to come to their aid and resume patrol of the area as the unarmed vigilante youths could not protect the area alone considering the sophisticated weapons used by the terrorists.
Meanwhile, there were indications in Abuja, yesterday, that following the death of Boko Haram leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, as a result of gunshot wounds he sustained in an encounter with Special Forces when they carried out ground and air assault at the vast Sambisa Forest in Borno State, remnants of Boko Haram sect members were planning a revenge attack.
The sect members are said to have vowed that the killing of their leader and others in the decision making council will be avenged with a deadly attack that will be commensurate with the killing of their leaders including Momodu Bama, the 2nd in command to Shekau.

Soilder stabbed in Jos while coming from girlfriend's house
Culled From: Vanguard
A member of the Special Task Force (STF) maintaining security in Plateau State was stabbed by a suspected rival early Monday along Muhammadu Wada Street where he went to visit a girlfriend.
The soldier whose identity could not be immediately ascertained was said to be on his way from the girlfriend around 4.am when an unknown man stabbed him.
It was not clear if the now hospitalized solider, who was dressed in mufti, had any argument with his attacker to warrant the stabbing.
A resident who did not identify himself said it might not be unconnected with earlier complaints by some boys in the area that soldiers were snatching their girlfriends. The soldier was said to have been rushed to a hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
The stabbing of the soldier generated anxiety among residents who feared a reprisal from soldiers. Many residents were said to have abandoned their homes for fear of possible molestation by soldiers and only returned later in the day.
STF Media Coordinator Captain Salisu Mustapha who confirmed the incident said the victim was responding to treatment.

We should not rejoice over the death of Boko Haram leader - CAN
The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, reacting to the reported death of the Islamist sect's leader, Abubakar Shekau, said: "I have not heard the story yet but if it is true, as a Christian, we should not rejoice over the death of any one.
"Nevertheless I must commend the security forces, which had taken this war against terrorism in this country to a new and commendable height by the accomplishment they had achieved in the last couple of months."
According to him, the Christian community in Nigeria would have preferred that Shekau was caught alive and arraigned before a court of competence jurisdiction, where Nigerians would have the opportunity of hearing his explanation for the mindless killings of innocent Nigerians.
"That is why I say that it is heavy on me to react to the death of this fellow. I would really have been glad if he was caught alive so that he can answer so many questions bothering people's minds.
"Once again, I commend the members of the security forces, who had ensured that the turbulence in the North-East is gradually simmering down and people can now go about their daily chores almost unhindered."

I dropped a 20 track album nobody cared - Mode 9, Get another job - Rugged Man replys
Rapper Mode 9 recently lamented the neglect of his type of non commercial rap saying that He dropped an album 'alphabetical order' earlier this year and no one cared.
Mode 9 said: "I put out a whole album nobody cared A whole 20 track album 'alphabetical order' nobody gave a f**k', nobody cares.
"You see how the industry is how do you expect me to feel? Nigerians don't like hip hop they only follow the hype, they don't even know what it is.
"I only cater for my real fans; I don't really care about the fair weather, band wagon jumpers I cater for my fans and they are feeling it i have put up too much effort in promotion of my materials
"It's just some certain people in their minds feeling that I'm not doing well I have decided I am going to attack anybody who calls me up and asks 'where have you been?' I have attacked everyone that has done that, I am not afraid of anybody. It's just the way they think. If your music is not playing in clubs then you are not putting out the best. My music is not club music; I didn't put out a club album. Real fans of Mode 9 know where it's happening and know how to get it. They've seen it on TV and they loved it. So I think I'm doing a great job.
"Imagine you doing all this and someone walking up to you and asking, common where've you been? Imagine how bad you'll feel after spending millions of naira to promote yourself from your own pocket."
While speaking on Hot FM's breakfast radio show, Rapper Rugged Man replyed Mode 9, He said: "Mode 9 is not the only one that does the non-commercial kind of rap. Basically if you are an entertainer you can't do music for yourself that's why you are an entertainer.
"If People you are made to entertain are not entertained, you should do one of two things…get another job or adapt, am not saying this to be funny or anything. If something is not working anymore the least you can do is try and adopt to what's up
"Even in America at a point it was all Eastside …then Westside, you can't do anything about it, if you can't shape up, you shape out
"I actually started writing 'ehen' song in English but paul play advised me you are in Nigeria, make music for Nigerians, add the local language so people could understand, I put a little comedy to it by bringing in Normoloss,
"It's not about how good you are but how smart you are. I have said it i don't want to be he can rap kinda artist but to be a successful artist.
"Switching your style doesn't make you any less of a human cos at the end of the day what you have achieved is what would be asked."

Boko Haram leader, Shekau is dead - Army claims
The Nigerian army says it believes that the leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, may have died after being shot in a clash with soldiers.

Shekau was described in the statement as "the most dreaded and wanted" Boko Haram leader. The United States recently offered a $7m bounty for information leading to his arrest.

God will uproot bad leaders in Nigeria - Former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon
Former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, on Monday during his visit to Gethsemane Prayer Ministries Cathedral, Eleyele, Ibadan, prayed that God should uproot all the leaders with evil intentions against the country.
"I want God to uproot bad leaders from Nigeria as a way of moving the country forward from the present situation," - he said
He also faulted the prediction that the country would break up by 2015, saying that similar prediction by France had already failed.
The former Head of State said, "Nigerians should stand up as one and intercede on the crises rocking this nation. That is when God will uproot all the leaders that have evil intention against this country.
Nigerians needs to desist from creating problems which they cannot solve and stop blaming God for their shortcomings.
"We had series of crises in the past and if Nigerians can pray fervently well, sooner or later, this country will be free from its challenges; God has heard our cries and will surely answer.
"I don't believe that the
prediction by America that
Nigeria will break before 2015
will happen. France said the
same thing in the past that we
will break up before 2014, but
we still stand as one.
"Every Nigerian should stand
against the claims. If we believes
that it will not happen, then it
will not.
"I believe God will not allow
such to happen. Nigeria Prays is
really praying against such."
On political activities ahead of
2015 general elections, Gowon advised that the over-
ambitious politicians should be
ignored, as they spelt doom for
the nation.
"Politicians should not be selfish
but should protect the interest
of the people to ensure
equitable development of the
country,"
