Michael Jackson new album to be released soon
The world will hear the new tunes due to the efforts of Epic Records chairman and X Factor judge L.A.
Reid, who was granted unlimited access to Jackson's archives by his estate. In the archives, Reid uncovered what a press release calls 'four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals.'
Reid selected eight tracks for the album and then sent them out to be retooled by producers, including recent Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake hitmaker Timbaland, in a process Reid calls 'contemporizing.'
Reid only chose producers who had 'the gravitas, depth and range' to maintain the 'essence and integrity' of Jackson's work.

"We need to support how awesome he is. He's great. He's amazing."
Bieber's award was collected on his behalf by members of Canada's Olympic women's curling team.
Hundreds of terrorists killed, 20 soldiers missing as Army invade Boko Haram hideout
What would have been a great victory for the Special Forces was, however, marred by an operational misunderstanding between the ground troops and the officers in the Air Force Alpha Jet.
Investigations revealed that 20 soldiers are still missing as a result of the operational misunderstanding.
It was learnt that mid-way into the operation, the Air Force Alpha Jet radioed the ground forces who have advanced in three companies, that they should withdraw because it was running out of bombs.
It was learnt that while the second and the third battalions withdrew, the first company of soldiers did not get the critical operational order.
The situation was said to have put them at a numerical disadvantage in the encounter with the insurgents.
It was gathered that the soldiers fought their way through in desperation until they got to Bama Barracks.
Investigation revealed that a headcount among the soldiers revealed that 20 of them were missing.
The military would not declare a soldier dead unless the corpse is recovered.
It was further learnt that the soldiers became bitter because they felt they were not given the operational information that could have prevented the ugly occurrence.
Investigations further revealed that the angry soldiers became unruly and refused to take further orders from their superiors.
It was gathered that the soldiers, who came from 103 Battalion, Okuname under 81 Div Enugu, only take instructions from their commanding officer.
It was learnt that the commanders are still in the process of resolving the issue as of the time of filing this story.
However, the Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen Chris Olukolade, said the officers only went to their commanders to narrate their operational experience.
He said the issues had been resolved.
He confirmed that the Special Forces bombed the main operational headquarters of the insurgents where many of them were killed in droves.
Olukolade said, "There were operational issues; the issues have been resolved for the operation to commence.
The spokesman added that some of the soldiers that were said to be missing had returned to base.
"The troops only came to narrate their operational experience to the commanders for them to be resolved and they have been resolved; and the operation is already continuing," He said Culled From: Punch
Obesere releases VCD of his rape scandal
The VCD contains Obesere's interview and that of his witness, Alhaja Bolatito Omo Owo. It has been in circulation since its release on Monday, March 17, 2014 and it's almost sold out!
In an interview with encomium the singer explains why he had to release the VCD...
"I want people, especially my fans, to get a clearer picture of what really happened between myself and Nike Olaiya. Also, the inclusion of Alhaja Bola Omo Owo's interview in the video is to let the public:know that I have nothing to hide. I am sure everybody can recognize me, but I want people to also see the face of Alhaja Omo Owo so that they will all know she's not a fake person . Rape Scandal was produced to explain everything in detail. It wasn't for monetary reason, but all of a sudden, everybody keeps requesting for a copy.
"By now, Nike should just come out'and defend herself. Her picture is also on the jacket of the CD. Everybody knows that Papa can never rape and that will never happen. I believe that won't be the first time Nike will be swindling men. It's God that exposed her. That's why she is running up and down. Everybody has seen the face of a scammer. Very soon, she would show up or be fished out."
Reacting to the video development on Sunday, March 23, 2014, Olaiya said: "Let them go ahead with their video CDs. If they like, they should come out with 10 of such, it doesn't bother me. Very soon, the whole world will know the truth. All I know is that sinners won't go unpunished. But I thank God I am okay now."

Security beefed up around Aso Rock as Boko Haram suspects attempt jail break
The shoutout erupted when some of the suspected terrorists attempted to free their members and leave the detention facility, which is by the precincts of the Presidential Villa.
Trouble started around 6am during the normal handing over and taking over of duties by DSS detainees' handlers.
A competent source said that as soon as one handlers opened the gate leading to the cell where the detainees were being kept, ten suspected terrorists rushed out, snatched the handler's rifle and used it to shoot him.
Seeing the attack, some DSS handlers are reported to have retreated so as not to be killed by the rampaging suspected terrorist.
The source said after shooting the first handler, the ten suspected terrorists began to escape into different locations within the massive security compound. Alarmed by the effrontery of the suspected terrorists, the DSS quickly deployed its men to quell the uprising, resulting in heavy shooting that claimed the lives of some of the suspects.
Many DSS operatives and Boko Haram detainees were also injured in the ensuing stampede.
The shot DSS operative, whose name could not be immediately ascertained, was immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital. A source said the shot operative was in a fatal state but had not died.
It was learnt that the DSS, which is highly embarrassed by the incident, had begun investigation into why the detainees handler decided to go and open the cell gate alone without being accompanied by others, as is the standard practice.
"The whole episode occurred around 6:30 am and 7am on Sunday during the normal handing over and takeover of detainees.
"The standard rule is that you cannot go alone to open the gate leading to the detainees' cell but as soon as the man opened the gate, he was attacked and he tried to run away and was shot.
"The shot operative has been taken to hospital," the source said.
The uprising led to the deployment of soldiers to the DSS headquarters and around the Presidential Villa. Commuters and vehicles passing through the Aso Drive, were searched by armed soldiers and DSS operatives.
Marylyn Ogar, the Spokeswoman for the DSS, confirmed the attempted jailbreak, which she said had been stalled by security agents.
She said, "What happened was that the suspects' handlers went to feed the detainees here but suddenly they attacked him with their handcuffs, disarmed him and started shooting.
"The military was quickly called in before they could do any harm and that is responsible for the shootings you heard.
"It was an attempted jailbreak but it has been brought under control."

This is my first time and I promise not to smuggle drugs again"

DvNsports: David Moyes says Sir Alex Ferguson would have struggled with 'this ageing' Manchester United squad
The reigning champions are currently 18 points off top spot in the Premier League having suffered 10 top flight defeats already this season.
The club's supporters have become increasingly disillusioned in recent weeks after heavy defeats to rivals Liverpool and Manchester City and have organised a plane banner protest to be flown above Old Trafford on Saturday.
However, Moyes says his predecessor would also have struggled with the current squad and feels this was always going to be a difficult season.
"If Sir Alex was here this year it would be difficult for him as well, and he would be aware of that," he told reporters.
"People are aware that there was a squad that was ageing, so it would be a tough season for whoever was in charge this season.
"There's been a change from a great manager, not just a great one but one who was here for 26 years. To make that change was always going to be difficult."
While Moyes is well aware of the planned protest on Saturday, and says supporters have the right to voice their feelings, he is remaining calm in the face of supporter unrest.
"The majority of Manchester United fans are aware of the situation and obviously we want to play better, we want to get better results," he added.
"The best people to judge are the people who appointed me.
"They are incredibly knowledgeable. In fact, the most knowledgeable is the one who gave me that job (Ferguson)."

Photos: UK Landlord horrified by how dirty Joseph Yobo's penthouse flat is
UK landlord who leased a penthouse flat to former Super Eagles defender Joseph Yobo has said he has never seen a house this dirty before. The Landlord who was visible angry said, he is horrified and has never seen such before.
He claims there were burn marks on the carpet, a dirty kitchen and bathroom, and holes in the wall left from a flat-screen television.
"There's bond money of £1,500, but by the look of it, it will need £5,000 to put all the damage right and I will have to call in industrial cleaners. There are iron marks on the floor, as if left by ironing, and holes in the wall left by flat-screen TVs. I've never come across anything like this before and I'm just so shocked. The place looks as if it's been burgled" he said.
Yobo has however denied ever living there and said his brother, Godwin was the one who lived there and paid the rent.
"It's my name on the lease, but I never lived at the flat and I've never even been there. The landlord doesn't know me and he hasn't spoken to Gideon about this. I have property too and the landlord should have gone to the letting agents if he was unhappy," Yobo said.
Court acquits Chidi Lloyd of attempted murder
Justice Ledan Nyordee, who delivered the judgment, said there was nothing the court could do in the matter as the police was not willing to prosecute the case.
Lloyd was arrested and charged with attempted murder of Mr. Michael Chinda, (PDP- Obio/Akpor 11) in the state legislature.
Lloyd was alleged to have hit Chinda on the head with a mace during a fight between the supporters of Governor Chibuike Ameachi and anti-Amaechi legislators in July 2013.
Justice Nyordee said the court was handicapped in the matter as the police was not willing to prosecute the case and cited the relevant section of the constitution to support the court's decision.
Mr Beluolisa Nwaofor, counsel to the accused person, told reporters that "my client is free as far as this matter is concerned.
"You will recall that the attorney-general and commissioner for justice had written the court to inform it that the police did not send the case file to his office," Nwaofor said.

Senate set to begin screening of Emefiele as CBN governor
The Senate disclosed this in its Notice Paper yesterday. Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, according to the Notice Paper, is to formally move the motion for the screening and confirmation of the nominee.
The Senate will also, during the exercise, screen Mr. Adelabu Adebayo Adekola as Deputy Governor of the CBN, as nominated by the President. It is expected to also treat a bill seeking amendment of the CBN Act to remove a sitting CBN governor from being chairman of the CBN governing board.

DvNsports: Don't expect friendly match from me, Drogba tells Chelsea
In a press conference held this morning ahead of the match, the Ivorian striker gave an early indication that he is feeling torn ahead of the match when he said: "Yeah, it's going to be tough... I'm really happy to come back and to see some familiar faces, and, yes, it's good.
"It's very difficult to play against Chelsea, but it's not going to be difficult for me to put myself into the competition because now I belong to Galatasaray," Drogba said.
"I need to be professional. Of course, there will be emotions. Of course. Like the first leg when I saw my ex-team-mates and the Chelsea fans at the stadium. It was special. But then there was the game and the game, as you saw, was tough. I think it's going to be the same here."
Walking a diplomatic tightrope between being respectful to Chelsea but not wishing to offend the Galatasaray supporters, Drogba was clearly uncomfortable with being asked if he will celebrate a goal at Stamford Bridge. He initially tried to get away with a "Let's see if it happens"
When pushed for a better answer, he said: "With all the respect I have for this club, for the fans and the players, I might not celebrate. But if we win I will be happy. That's OK?"
