All this while, I was dealing with tens of calls of lamentations, and threats of contract termination from my clients, most of the calls I made to the Linda Ikeji contact number were either cut off, or unanswered. When eventually, I would contact them via text or Twitter with a strongly worded message, they'd give me a very brief call, claiming they've been driving, and making more promises for "first thing tomorrow morning" again.
I began to visualize Linda Ikeji and her staff akin to Dangote truck drivers.
By Monday night, everyone had become fed up with the routine of the Linda Ikeji "first thing tomorrow" antic. The AMA Sound CEO who had never called me directly, did so at this time, requesting that the article be withdrawn and our payment be refunded. A text message was sent again to Linda Ikeji after which her which a call was put through to us for consolation, but after hearing that we were inconsolable, they agreed to make the refund, again, "first thing tomorrow morning". They even sent us a text message urging us to collect the money physically, like though we could just walk into our computer, unto Linda Ikeji's blogspot.Even though there was no refund made to our account first thing in the morning of Tuesday 25th, 2013, as usual, the surprisehowever, was that no payment was made at all, even by 4pm. This time around, a call to Linda Ikeji was not taken lightly, as the receiver of the call made it clear she was not the person, Linda Ikeji, but the Business Manager of the blog, and that she had better things to do than repaying our money. Going ahead to use several expletives in referring to us.
Wednesday, still no refund, yet anadditional feature now was a claim that our N50,000 had been refunded. On Thursday, 27th June, I had made clear that this incidence of Advance Fee Fraud would be first reported to GTBank, then the EFCC, and finally, the Police. Several threats and insults were hurled from the Linda Ikeji camp.Linda Ikeji herself who had comein direct contact with the client, AMA Sound, and made a claim that no money was ever paid into her account regarding their promo. Instantly, she effected thetransfer (5:04pm, Thursday, 27thJune, 2013).
The primary purpose of publishing this incidence is primarily to make a call to all upcoming artistes and entrepreneurs who have fallen for this Linda Ikeji Promo Fraud to come forward. Obviously, threats have been made to them but with the necessary courage, they will be recompensed. Secondly, I want to make it absolutely clear to everyone who may be mutual acquaintances to myself and the culprit, that for making me lose such a valuable client, for which I'm suing herself, and her entire establishment for breach of contract, and seeking punitive damages against Linda Ikeji, and the Linda Ikeji Blog.

Photos: Popular Blogger Linda Ikeji Accused of Fradulent activities
This was reported by Hoe Nejeeb Bello, CEO of Bar Baric Media take time to read below;
As a Social Media Marketer, I come across several clients who need to get Nigerian blogs, and news sites to review their products and services, which I never hesitate to direct them to eiher Nairaland or Bella Naija as the most effective websites for getting the highest click-through rates, and most honest comments.
Some clients prefer to get on gossip sites like Naij.com or Linda Ikeji Blog despite my reservations and reasons. Naij was recently made themselves popular for using Russian hackers to redirect Etisalat subscribers to their homepage at some point, and Linda Ikeji is known amongst bloggers for her horde of hired hands, using multiple identities, and devices to post dozens of comments and spark irrelevant arguments, not forgetting her vicious fabrications euphemised as idle gossip.
A Port Harcourt based artiste, M-Kaze, recently consulted with Bar Baric Entertainment for promotional services, for which among several bloggers and micro-bloggers, his label chose Linda Ikeji.
All the bloggers sent invoices and were pre-paid. By 9:41am on the next day, Tuesday, 18th June, 2013, Linda Ikeji was paid N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) in line with her quotation, which indicated that the AD would be posted in 48 hours.Aside from the fact that Linda Ikeji Blog could not accept a brieffrom which they were supposed to write their own unique story, but requested a full pre-written press release, things really started getting awry when by Thursday evening, the client called to complain that their AD had not been posted. All avenues were employed in getting in touch with Linda Ikeji, and her staff, yet to no avail. Eventually, she was sighted on Twitter tweeting links from her blog, and a tweet was sent to herdemanding the AD be set up immediately. Instantly, we received a call promising that the press release on M-Kaze would be posted "first thing tomorrow morning" (Friday). On Saturday, at noon, another callwas placed to the Linda Ikeji team, after the advertorial had not showed up the entire morning. They claimed they were having difficulties posting the link to M-Kaze's video. Knowing quite well that the same link had been posted by more than 15 other blogs, yet eager to avoid debates which would further delay the promotion, the root URL to the video was provided within the hour. Still, same link was still being requested over, and over again, via various channels, till 5pm on Sunday. At that point, we had to specifically request that the AD was not posted on a Sunday, since Sundays had the least internet activity. They agreed, claiming we'd see our advert on Monday.Sorry for the cut Continue Reading in my next post Click Here...

No going back on anti gay bill, and death penalty – FG
The Federal Government has rejected the recommendation by the United Nations Human Rights Council on the protection of same sex marriage and the abolition of death penalty.
This was contained in a draft report to the United Nations Human Rights Council on resolution 16/20 discussed at a Stakeholders' Consultative Forum on the second cycle of Nigeria's Universal Periodic Review in Abuja on Friday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, stated that same sex marriage was against the tradition and customs of the nation, so it could not be imposed on the country by external forces.
Ashiru who expressed shock why gay rights had generated interest from the United Nations, queried the negative campaign against polygamy, which, according to him, was allowed in African tradition.
He said, "You should not shy away from defending what you believe is right. Whatever is in our constitution, you must defend it. We must stand by our constitution. We must stand by our customs and tradition.
"If you want to have gay right in your constitution; fine, but we have our own constitution. The same human rights they want to protect for gay people; how about people who want to go into polygamy if they so desire and women are willing to marry them. Polygamy is human rights in our tradition."
On the abolition of death penalty, the Minister said Nigeria should not be blamed because the Criminal Code in use was enacted by the colonial masters, saying, "If anything is wrong about it, why are they blaming us?"

Islamic terrorists kill one, abduct three soldiers in Yobe state
Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram militants, last night killed a soldier and abducted three others during an attack on the military in Potiskum town of Yobe state.
A soldier confirmed the incident yet pleaded anonymity, disclosed that the corpse of the deceased soldier has since been deposited at a hospital morgue in Damaturu town.
"The attack was a bad one because a soldier was killed and the terrorists kidnapped three other soldiers, and whisked them to an unknown location",
"Our search team are combing within and outside the neighbourhoods of Potiskum for the missing soldiers. A helicopter gun ship has been deployed from Maiduguri to join in the search team this morning"
The soldier also revealed that three soldiers were killed and two seriously injured two weeks ago, during an attack that also resulted to the killing some secondary school students by the Boko Haram militants in Damaturu town.
The JTF official had on the contrary reported that no soldier was killed in that attack, except a soldier that was injured.
"It wasn't true that only a soldier sustained injury in that attack. The terrorists actually invaded the room where the soldiers were sleeping at night and shot the three of them dead. Two others only sustained injury during a separate attack on the same night. The soldiers were able to kill one of the terrorists and arrested one alive" He said.
The aggrieved soldier blamed the recent killings of soldiers on lack of motivation and low morale. He said the soldiers had stayed beyond the stipulated three months of peacekeeping operation. He said most soldiers stay for more than three months, yet, they are not motivated.
According to him, "apart from the police that adhere to the rotating rule, by changing shift every three months, all military personnel in Yobe JTF are presently on their eighth months, yet no one is planning to employ the said rotation strategy"

No love, no emotions attached, all I want is your waist – Iyanya replies Yvonne Nelson
Following a recent interview Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson granted where she said Nigerian singer Iyanya broke her heart, ("I dated one
person here, he’s in the industry. There were too many lies in the relationship. I found out a whole lot of things and I just felt like he took advantage of me.")
Iyanya has replied her on the Tim Westwood show in the UK a few days back.
Iyanya, while free styling, replied his ex-girlfriend's emotional interview. He sang:
"Yvonne Nelson, I lost your medicine. She called that she's coming over and I ride her like a jangolova. All I want is your waist, no emotions, no tears, no letters, no love, no nothing. All I want is your waist, she ain't even know it. She brought emotions.
Iyanya, who later said he was joking, repeated it again towards the end of the freestyle.

Tonto Dikeh risks 15 years jail term for encouraging the consumption of hemp
Culled From: Punch
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Friday said controversial Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, risks a minimum of 15 years in jail for encouraging the consumption of hemp.
Dikeh had on Friday posted photographs of a wrap of hemp and grains of the weed formed into the letters, 'Happy birthday POKO.'
She also posted a photograph of herself and added the inscription, 'Mi smoke ganja mi smoke weed while my hatez smoke ma gossip.'
Her picture is a close-up of her face that seemed to depict her in a high state.
When Saturday PUNCH contacted NDLEA for comments, its spokesman, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said the matter would be investigated.
He said the matter had been referred to the appropriate department of the agency.
Ofoyeju said, "Our attention has been drawn to the post quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear and NDLEA has been very clear on the issue. No one is permitted to sell, use, cultivate or encourage the use of Indian hemp in Nigeria. The weed is one of the banned narcotics in the country.
"NDLEA Act Section 14 (b) states that any person who conspires with, aids, abets, counsels, attempts to commit or is an accessory to any act or offence referred to in this act shall be guilty of an offence under this act and liable on conviction to be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years and not exceeding 25 years.
"Investigation has not started as of now but definitely, a step has to be taken on the matter.
Ignorance of the law is not an excuse; so, it is obvious that the actress stands the risk of 15 years jail term. The appropriate department is meeting on the issue for necessary action."
The NDLEA spokesman, however, declined to give any hint on particular steps the agency would take in its investigation, citing reasons bearing on ethics.
Dikeh's post has expectedly drawn mixed reactions from readers, with many of them voicing concern for the way she is living her life.

I dont mean for my tweets to be misconstrued, i know what OJB is passing through - Juliet Ibrahim cries out
Juliet Ibrahim cries out after making a statement yesterday on instagram saying she doesn't understand why people in charge of OJB's fund raising are asking for $100,000 when kidney transplant costs $50,000. This did not go down well with her fans as it was followed with a lot of criticism.
In a fresh statement hastily released by her media manager, Juliet cries out that her words were misunderstood
"I dont mean for my tweets to be misconstrued and I won't take OJB's health problems with levity as many have misconstrued me…all I was trying to do was bring an idea of where we can get the transplant done since it's utmost necessary we get it done soonest and funds ain't coming in as much expected.
"I thought we could try a better and certified centre which isn't as expensive as the current one in UK when there are several cheaper countries to perform the surgery.
"Also instead of people lashing out on celebrities, they should rather be asking the government to help. It should be further noted that we are all finding a lasting solution to help end the pain of the talented entertainer and bring smile to his face once again and not generate issue out of someone's suggestion or hand of help,
"Currently I have 2 relatives living with kidney failure whom I'm responsible for and caring for, thus, I'm no stranger to whatever OJB is going through."

FG recovers N5.5billion looted by former head of state late general Abacha – Adoke
Culled From: Daily Post
Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, SAN, has disclosed that the Federal Government has recovered over N5.5 billion looted by former Head of State, General Sani Abacha. He made this disclosure at the 2013 Ministerial Platform on Thursday in Abuja.
According to him, negotiation was still on to recover another N36.7 billion from two of Abacha's associates.
He explained further that the ministry maintained an effective liaison and communication to keep pace with asset recovery, which led to the recovery and repatriation of the sum of UK £22.5 million.
The money had been confiscated by the Royal Court of Jersey from Raj Arjandes Bhojwani, an Indian national and an associate of the late dictator.
Adoke said negotiation with the Principality of Liechtenstein also led to recent confiscation of the sum of Euro 175 million from the Abacha family, after a confiscation order by the Supreme Court of Liechtenstein.
The minister however explained that the Nigeria was yet to recover the confiscated loot as companies involved have appealed against the decision before the European Court of Justice in Strasburg.
Adoke stated that once the appeal is concluded, firm arrangements consistent with the asset recovery provisions of the United Nations convention against corruption would ensure that the forfeited sums are returned to the country.
The minister added that the Ministry is finalising a National Anti-Corruption Strategy, NACS, to fight corruption in the country, as it is the focal ministry under the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

Burial plans for Nelson Mandela discussed as he finds it hard to breath
According to Sky News reports, Nelson Mandela's tribal leaders have been told to prepare for the death of the former president, who remains in hospital on life support. The advice comes after meetings with the family over the past two days.
Senior tribal leaders - including Mr Mandela's tribal heir, grandson Mandla Mandela - are expected to visit the hospital for further talks with family members.
Nelson Mandela remains in critical condition, according to the South African government, and multiple sources have confirmed to Sky News that he is no longer able to breathe unassisted.
In the Eastern Cape, where Mr Mandela will be buried, a member of the tribal authority confirmed that the clan had been told that he is extremely ill and although it is against Xhosa tradition to even discuss the death of a living person, they should prepare for the worst.
There are a series of tribal rituals that will be observed by the family and the nation throughout this period and during the funeral, although Mr Mandela, a Methodist, will be given a Christian burial. "He has done so much for this country, it is terribly sad but we have to accept it however hard it may seem," said a lady reading messages pinned to the hospital wall.
The office of President Jacob Zuma says that Mr Mandela remains critical but the President, asking the nation to pray, added that South Africa had to accept that "Madiba is old".
Oh by the way, President Barack Obama's imminent visit to South Africa excited ailing former President Nelson Mandela, his daughter said yesterday. Zindzi Mandela said she said to her father: "Obama is coming, He opened his eyes and gave me a smile."

Michael Jackson's son testifies MJ was unhappy with promoter
Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince Jackson testified in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by his family against AEG Live that the late pop star was unhappy with the concert promoter in the run-up to his "This Is It" concert series in 2009.
Prince, who took the stand four years and one day after his father's death, was 12 when Jackson died at age 50 in Los Angeles from an overdose of surgical anesthetic propofol ahead of a series of comeback concerts in London in 2009.
Prince Jackson, 16, said he saw his father often get upset on the phone with AEG Live Chief Executive Officer Randy Phillips, but was unable to stand up for himself in disagreements.
Prince told jurors today in the wrongful death case, Michael Jackson had such problems with AEG he would cry and say, "They're gonna kill me ... they're gonna kill me."
Prince testified his dad was amped over the "This Is It" tour but felt he needed more time to rehearse. Apparently, AEG and MJ got into it during phone conversations and the calls made Michael break down in tears.
Prince also testified AEG Ceo Randy Phillips came over to the house several times and he saw Phillips aggressively grab Dr. Conrad Murray by the elbow, as if to school him.
Prince said he and his two younger siblings - sister Paris and brother Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket - were at their rented Los Angeles home when they heard a scream from the home's second level.
"I ran upstairs and I saw Dr.Conrad doing CPR on my dad on the bed," he said. "My dad was hanging halfway off the bed, and his eyes were rolled back in his head."
He added: "My sister was screaming the whole time, saying she wants her daddy. I was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, crying, waiting for the ambulance."
Prince remembered Dr.Conrad telling him. "Sorry kids, your dad's dead,"
The point of the testimony is lawyers for the Jackson family are trying to prove AEG pushed Michael Jackson mercilessly and that, combined with Murray's bad medicine, cost MJ his life.

I fear for my safety - Rihanna
A crazy fan of Rihanna was captured walking on the roof of her house and she fears he's up to no good. Read how TMZ is reporting it below;
Rihanna had her lawyers run to court after a crazed fan was captured walking on the roof of her house ... and she fears he's up to no good. A judge has ordered Robert Melanson to stay 100 yards clear of Rihanna, her house and her place of business. Melanson was skulking on the singer's roof with detailed property maps in hand on June 17. He was placed on a psychiatric hold and released 2 days later. Rihanna claimed in her legal docs she fears for her safety because Melanson is unstable and has a criminal history. It's scary, because unstable people often throw restraining orders in the trash can. Nonetheless, Rihanna will try and make the restraining order permanent on July 10.
