Llyod was charged with the attempted murder of Mr.Micheal Chindah following the attempt by Chinda and four other lawmakers to impeach Otelemaba Dan Amachree, the Speaker of Rivers Assembly on July 9. Amachree has a commanding support of 27 lawmakers in the assembly.
There was no response from Llyod's lawyers on this latest case.
this can only happen in a country where a criminal is allowed to go free once. we all saw the video of him hitting the maze on Chinda's head last year. it was all over youtube, yet he was allowed to go free. why won't he feel untouchable and commit another crime. if actually political criminals are prosecuted for their crimes. then it would serve as deterent to others. when you allow them to go free, then nobody learns and it happens again. I'm sure they will set him free again
