Governor Oshiomole gives girl hawking plantain chips N1Million

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole allegedly gave out a cheque to a child hawker at New Benin by Total filling station in Benin City, yesterday.

The Governor and his entourage were said to be passing by and as usual, he was on foot ,while his cars were on the move when some children hawking (with their goods on their heads), got scared and took to their heels.

However, a little girl hawking Plantain chips stood still and greeted the governor instead of joining others to escape.

Oshiomole got to where this little girl was standing, as everyone stood still and watched the outcome, he brought out his pen and wrote her a 1-million naira cheque and threw her plantain chips into the air and people began catching them to eat.
